The by-election to select a new councillor for Ward 3 in St. John’s is taking place today.
Five people are in the running to replace Jamie Korab who was elected on the provincial level to represent Waterford Valley.
On the ballot are Scott Fitzgerald, Walter Harding, Mark House, Paul Morgan and Greg Noseworthy.
Results will be released some time after the drop boxes close at 8:00 p.m.
