Two separate violent events on a street in Mount Pearl last night have left two men in hospital with serious injuries.
The RNC says a group of young people assaulted a man on Roosevelt Avenue at about 5:30. Officers located the injured man and began searching for his attackers.
A short time later, another report came in of a second attack on another section of Roosevelt Avenue. Another injured man was located. Police believe the same group of young people was responsible.
RNC is asking anyone with information or video footage (CCTV, dash camera or cell phone video) in the area of Roosevelt between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to contact either them or Crime Stoppers.
There will continue to be a police presence in @Mount_Pearl as the RNC investigates two violent attacks that occurred on Friday evening in the area of Roosevelt Avenue.
