Two men are none the worse for wear after their ATVs became stuck on a secluded trail deep off the Trans Canada Highway near Gull Pond East on a rainy and windy Saturday night.
The RNC got a distress call from the first man who got stuck just before 6:00. His vehicle was trapped in a bog. Shortly after, a friend who went in to help also got his machine stuck.
With the help of the Rovers Ground Search and Rescue, police located both stranded drivers and helped in unearthing their vehicles. Neither of the stranded drivers required medical attention.
