A new narrative research poll has found that both the Liberals and PCs have made gains among decided voters, while the NDP’s support has dropped significantly.
If an election were held today, 50 per cent of those asked say they would support the Liberals, compared to 43 per cent in August.
The Tories have also gained since the last poll, with a five per cent increase in support to 40 per cent.
Meanwhile, NDP numbers have dropped off, going from 19 per cent over the summer to 10 per cent now.
When asked who would be the best leader in the province, over 40 per cent of respondents indicated they would vote for Premier Furey, while a quarter supported Tony Wakeham of the PCs.
Only 11 per cent indicated Jim Dinn of the NDP was their preferred choice.
The survey was conducted November 4-19, 2024, with overall results accurate to within ±5.2 percentage points, 95 out of 100 times.
