A man involved in a dustup at an east end home wasn’t willing to stick around to face the music.

RNC showed up at the home just after 7:30 last evening after a call came in of an assault in progress.

The suspect had already taken off on foot, but police nabbed him nearby, albeit with a bit of pushback.

The 27-year-old was taken into custody on outstanding warrants and charged with resisting arrest.

He was held for court.
