A 25-year-old driver was ticketed this morning for passing a school bus picking a student up on the main road in Dunville.
Placentia RCMP were notified around 8:00 this morning.
A truck, which was reported to be speeding at the time, drove through a stop sign without stopping and passed the bus, which had its lights and sign activated at the time.
The suspect vehicle was located a short time later in Argentia, and the driver was issued a ticket for passing a school bus while stopped.
The fine for a conviction ranges from $650 to $1560 with six demerit points.
