Two downed trees were found to be the cause of a power outage in Sheshatshiu and North West River yesterday.
Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro says crews discovered a tree had fallen onto a power line in the area. Further helicopter surveillance found a second tree fell on the line as well.
Crews removed the debris from the area and power was restored to the area yesterday morning.
We have completed our helicopter patrol. The crew found and removed a second tree that fell on the line, and power has now been restored for all customers in Sheshatshiu and North West River. Thanks for your patience as we worked to safely restore power as quickly as possible. https://t.co/cACqwlnPx6
