After seven years as a Liberal MP, Churence Rogers is calling it a career.

First elected in Bonavista-Burin-Trinity in 2017, Rogers says it is with “mixed emotions” that he bows out of federal politics.

He says he will stay on until the next election.

Now 70 years of age, Rogers says he remains committed to the Liberal government and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as leader.
