Bonavista RCMP are investigating the theft of a trailer and two snowmobiles from a DFO compound on the Bonavista Highway near English Harbour.
Police were notified on Tuesday, December 17th, about the crime which occurred the night before. Surveillance footage caught two people, wearing reflective coats, arriving on the scene around 11:50 p.m. in a pickup truck.
The suspects then forced their way inside the gated compound, connected the trailer, which contained two snowmobiles, to the truck and left.
One of the snowmobiles is described as a 2009 yellow and grey Tundra LT Ski-doo – licence place number SFH 710. The other is a 2018 black and grey Polaris Indy LXT – licence place number SCE 890.

The suspect vehicle is a white, four-door Chevy Silverado.
