It appears that most of the island is in for a green Christmas this year.
Environment Canada meteorologist Melissa Field says after today, there doesn’t appear to be much of any snow in the forecast for the island.
Those on the west coast, who spent the weekend digging out from nearly 20 cm of snowfall, will be the exception.
The colder temperatures will allow the snow on the ground to stick around, but after today, there is no additional snowfall in the offing.
