For the second weekend in a row, Environment Canada has issued another warning on expected wave height in Newfoundland.
The weather service is warning of damage to coastal areas and possible beach erosion between 4:30 and 8:30 Sunday morning. Waves are expected to hit five to eight meters.
Areas of eastern, central and western Newfoundland are all under the advisory, with areas on the northern half of the island most impacted.
Just last weekend, the region was slammed with winds gusting up to 120 km/h. Some communities are still assessing the damage from that storm.
