The Premier’s Office is clarifying who made the invitation for Andrew Furey to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Trump officially takes office on Monday.
Last week, Furey announced that he had received an invitation to, and would be attending, the event in Washington, DC.
The Premier’s Office clarifies that Furey received the invite from the Ambassador of Canada to the US, Kirsten Hillman, and by the Canadian American Business Council.
All Canadian premiers were invited to attend.
