A brand of chocolate bar has been recalled by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency because hazelnuts are included in the list of ingredients.
Bubbly Alpine Milk “Chocolat” bars could cause allergic reactions in people sensitive to tree nuts. The bars have a best before date of April 25th, 2025.
The agency advises not to consume the product if you are sensitive to tree nuts, and they’ve since launched an investigation, citing there could be more products set to be recalled.
The recall was issued in response to a consumer complaint.
