The long-awaited opening of the brand new Mews Centre is drawing near—finally.
The facility is in the commissioning phase and ward councillor Greg Noseworthy was among a group of city councillors who got a recent tour of the building’s features.
He says the new Mews Centre will soon open its doors to the public, although an exact date is not yet confirmed.
Work on the $33-million replacement for the old Mews Centre began in the spring of 2022. It was supposed to open in the fall of 2023, but that date kept being pushed back for a variety of reasons.
