Memorial University’s President and Vice President have called a media availability for this afternoon to respond to the Auditor General’s latest report on Facilities Management at MUN.

The Auditor General has been conducting a performance audit on operations at Memorial University, specifically on whether it effectively manages its capital portfolio.

The audit will determine whether policies and procedures for the management of its capital portfolio are clear and complete and whether the university appropriately manages additions, renovations, replacements, removals and maintenance.

AG Denise Hanrahan will release her report over the noon hour and speak with reporters afterward.

Memorial University will provide its response at 2:30.
