QMJHL Unveiling Name and Logo of New Team Today

The Quebec Maritime Junior Hockey League is set to announce the name and logo for its new St. John’s-based team.

The new team’s name will pay tribute to the sacrifices made, and bravery shown by Newfoundlanders and Labradorians in both World Wars.

A news conference is scheduled for 1:00 this afternoon at the Anthony Paddon Building on The Boulevard.

The event will also be live-streamed on YouTube.
