The weather for the Newfoundland Growlers victory parade downtown St. John’s today should not pose any problems.

The parade will mark the province’s very first professional sports championship.

The parade will begin at Mile One Centre at 5:30 this afternoon and wind through the downtown via Harbour Drive to Prescott Street and then back to Mile One via Duckworth Street.

Skies will be cloudy, perhaps with some drizzle, but winds will be light with a temperature in the low double digits.

VOCM’s Ben Murphy will be on-hand for the historic celebration.
