The federal government’s so-called tax holiday is scheduled to come to an end this weekend, however a movement appears to be afoot to have it extended beyond February 14th.

Seniors’ Minister Joanne Thompson says she’s received overwhelmingly supportive feedback about the tax holiday, and she’ll be sharing that response with her cabinet colleagues as they “continue to work” to provide relief from the rising cost of living.
