The investigation into an unusual incident on the Port au Port Peninsula that sent a man to hospital with serious injuries continues.
One person was detained for a period of time while police conducted a search of a home on Front Road in Port au Port West, but no charges have been laid.
RCMP launched their investigation after a snowmobiler was sent to hospital after falling from his machine while crossing Gravel’s Pond.
Police say the injuries suffered are not consistent with a fall from a snow machine.
