The provincial government has reached a tentative agreement with the Medical Association to renew its MOU.

The province says the agreement addresses remuneration, with a focus on the retention and recruitment of physicians to Newfoundland and Labrador.

Details of the tentative deal will be released once the ratification process is complete.
