Two men are facing charges following separate assaults at homes in the capital city.
Police responded to the first incident just after 4:30 p.m. yesterday following reports of a domestic disturbance at a home in the east end.
As a result a 41-year-old man was charged with assault with a weapon.
Then, just before 2:00 this morning police were called to a home in the centre city area.
According to the RNC, officers were assaulted by a 37-year-old man inside the home.
He is now facing a single charge of assaulting a police officer.
Both of the accused were held for court.
