A man has been arrested following a drug trafficking investigation in the Placentia area which involved searches on land and on the water.
The properties searched were on Morely Drive and Hartigan Street. Simultaneously, RCMP searched a vessel in the bay.
Warrants in hand, police arrested a 32-year-old man at the Morely Drive house.
The searches yielded cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
The suspect was released to appear later.
