A 55-year-old man was arrested and charged after someone fired a pellet gun at a home in Corner Brook.

The RNC say there were no injuries reported, but some damage was caused to the home as a result of the incident reported around 3:30 yesterday afternoon.

The accused, who was arrested at his home nearby, is facing charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and mischief.

He was held in custody pending a court appearance.
