A man is facing several charges after crashing a stolen car in the capital city’s west end early this morning.
RNC were alerted to a stolen vehicle, which was spotted by officers around 1 a.m.
When police attempted to pull the car over, the driver took off at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle was found a short time later after it had crashed into a tree and a parked car on a residential street. The 28-year-old suspect was found hiding in the backseat and arrested on numerous charges including flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and possession of stolen property.
He was held for court.
