The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is turning to the public for help after three firearms were stolen from a home in Torbay early Monday morning.
They say two men broke into a a home on Torbay Road between 4:30 and 5:30 Monday morning.
Three firearms that were stored in a gun safe were taken from the home. Those are a single barrel break-action shotgun, a .30-06 rifle with a missing bolt—believed to be a Winchester, and a pellet gun.
The two suspects left in the homeowner’s truck, which is described as a grey 2022 Ford F-150, license plate CH3 917.
The RNC says if the vehicle is seen to not approach it, and to report any sightings—including a description of the occupants, to the RNC at 709-729-8000.
