Prime Minister Mark Carney says he will only accept the best deal for Canada as trade talks with the U.S. drag on.
The PM met with the Council of the Federation yesterday to discuss trade strategy and ways to expand Canada’s economy as trade partnerships continue to shift.
Last week, the Prime Minister announced that Canada will crack down on the amount of cheap foreign steel entering the country.
Trade Minister Dominic LeBlanc will continue trade discussions in Washington this week.
“We’re looking for the best deal for Canada.”
