Mayor Danny Breen made the announcement on VOCM’s On Target- St. John’s this week.

The city of St. John’s is looking at putting in a bid for the 2025 Canada Summer Games.

Breen says the city is poised for exciting things.

Council is looking at the option, something Breen believes will be a great benefit to the capital city.
