Municipalities NL says the elections that happened earlier this year went “very well.”
That’s according to president Amy Coady, who lists a number of examples indicating positive levels of engagement.
She says there were some communities who held their first elections, where ballots had to be cast and choices were available in several election cycles. Coady also touts the success of their Make Your Mark Campaign, and says she spoke with several potential candidates and people who wanted to help out on campaigns.
