Teachers have seen an “intensification of hate” in the classroom in recent years, due in part to online activities, according to the NLTA.

One of the issues that advocates have been calling for action on is violence in schools.

President Dale Lambe, who has been a school administrator for three decades, says there are more ways in this day and age for students to participate in hate.

He says all teachers go into the system with “positive intentions” and they all want to make a difference, but when they have to compete with social media it does bring about more concerns about the violence that they see in the school setting.
