The Atlantic Canada Cruise Association says St. John’s is expected to see a record number of expedition and luxury cruise lines make their way into port this year.
The Association says cruise season in the capital city starts on May 21st and concludes on October 11th.
They say this year’s season includes 13 expedition and luxury turnarounds – the highest number ever for the port.
The season also includes six overnight stays and eight inaugural visits.
Meanwhile, the port of Corner Brook will see its share of cruise activity this year.
The season for the west coast city begins on June 14th and ends on October 23rd, and includes four inaugural visits.
