Some people take the small items in their purses for granted but a local group knows that the little things can add up – especially around the holiday season.

Princess and the Purse is a group that has been organized in the province for four years. Project Coordinator, Kelly Carew, says they have been successful to date and there is more to come.

There are multiple drop off locations throughout the province where people can drop gently used purses and items to fill those purses. The purses end up with organizations that support women and Carew says she hopes to see them go full circle.

Carew says any small item a woman may need is accepted and right now, they have more purses than items.
