The Town of Torbay has thrown out an earlier decision to suspend the deputy mayor from council for three months and to strip her of committee responsibilities.

The disciplinary action was taken against Colleen Tapper a few weeks ago, but based on additional information and consultation, her record has been wiped clean following a unanimous vote by council.

Councillor Karen Gosse moved that the previous motion be rescinded in its entirety.
