Starting today, the commute gets a bit more challenging for many in the metro region.
All ramps at the Heavy Tree Road interchange on Pitts Memorial Drive are closed from now until July 31 as work gets underway on the completion of the Team Gushue Highway.
The Robert E Howlett from Ruby Line to Brookfield Road is also closed for that same time period.
Drivers can detour through Ruby Line and Southlands Boulevard or Ruby Line and Bay Bulls Road.
The Team Gushue Highway is on track to be completed by the fall.
