The Public Utilities Board is going to make decisions on fuel prices five days a week for the next little while.
Due to market volatility, the PUB will adjust the price of most fuels Tuesday through to Saturday.
The PUB will continue to adjust the price of propane on Fridays.
The frequency of the board’s adjustments will be reassessed on a weekly basis.
The price of gas is up 8 cents today. Diesel increases by 14 cents on the island and is up 15 and a half cents in Labrador West.
Furnace oil costs an extra 12 cents per litre. Stove oil in Lab West is up by about 13 and a half cents.
