The Electronic Products Recycling Association is drawing attention to what it calls the “invisible e-waste” stored in many people’s homes.
Old laptops and tablets might come immediately to mind, but Michelle Marley says there are many more items that people may not realise can be recycled.
She references the “drawer of doom” in many people’s homes, filled with old charging cords and remotes. She says all of that can be recycled.
The association has sites across the province to accept old electronics for recycling or proper and safe disposal.
