Members of Drive Electric NL will be joined outside Confederation Building this afternoon to show off some electric vehicles and answer questions from reporters.

The group will be joined by Lake Melville MHA Perry Trimper.

Ford recently launched its new Mustang Mach-E while Tesla is set to reveal its new truck on Thursday. Today’s event is part of an effort to educate the public and raise awareness about electric vehicles.

It’s centered around a Private Members Resolution concerning electric vehicle charging stations that will be debated in the House later today.
