A local company is expanding its business into the US market just four years after launching its first product line.
The Third Place Cocktail Company of St. John’s produces artisanal cocktails.
Co-founder Kris Smith says after four years serving customers in Canada, its products are now available on shelves of Brown Jug retails stores in the United States.
Brown Jug is owned by Alcanna, one of the largest liquor retailers in North America.
The Third Place Cocktail Company first launched a small-batch tonic to mix with gin in 2015. It has since launched six new products, with each bottle hand signed and batch numbered.
