The illegal use of ATVs and dirt bikes has become a serious concern for the town of Paradise – and the rise in the popularity of e-bikes and e-scooters is only adding to the problem.
Mayor Patrick Martin fears it’s only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs, and government needs to take action.
“We’ve got to get some legislation in place…so that the RNC can do their jobs and get more enforcement…because we’ve got serious issues going on in Paradise.”

He says the town’s municipal enforcement officers are conducting patrols, but only have so much authority.
“They’re not going to chase these kids,” says Martin.
“This council is committed to resolving this issue and working with whoever we need to work with to see that done.”
