The roundabout connecting Commonwealth Avenue in Mount Pearl and the Robert E. Howlett Memorial Highway is set to reopen this weekend.
The intersection has been shut down since March as work to construct a roundabout linking area roads with the Team Gushue Extension got underway.
The Team Gushue Extension is expected to open by the end of the year.
Ongoing construction has caused major headaches and delays for drivers heading in and out of Goulds, the Southern Shore and has caused traffic congestion in Southlands as commuters have been forced to find a way around road closures.
