The RNC has upgraded charges against a man accused in a pedestrian-vehicle collision that claimed the life of a six-year-old boy.
The child was struck at the intersection of Thorburn Road and Larkhall Street last Thursday evening.
The child was rushed to hospital and has since succumbed to his injuries.
RNC say the charges against 28-year-old Tyler Julian Day have been upgraded to impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death and failing to remain at the scene of an accident causing death among other charges.
Day is scheduled to appear in court today.
