The provincial government is expanding access to fertility services – providing eligible hopeful parents with one-time funding of up to $29,000 to access fertility treatment.
That’s up from the previous maximum of $20,000.
The increase comes as the result of $1.8 million announced in the last provincial budget, and brings the total budget for the Fertility Subsidy Program to $5.8 million.
Minister Lela Evans will speak with reporters from Confederation Building this morning at 11:30.
