A 30-year-old man is in custody after the RNC say he put up quite a struggle during his arrest.
Police were called to a home on St. Clare Avenue just before 10 a.m. to reports of a man who was causing a disturbance, threatening people, and refusing to leave the area.
After what’s described as an “extended struggle,” the accused was arrested.
The officers allege they were kicked and scratched during the altercation, and one suffered minor injuries.
The man has been charged with three counts of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and assault with a weapon.
He was held for court.
