There were extensive backlogs on the TCH yesterday following a serious collision near Goobies.

The collision happened yesterday afternoon east of Jack’s Pond near the Southern Harbour exit.

Both lanes of the highway were shut down, resulting in traffic being reduced to a standstill for hours.

The highway reopened after 7:30 last night.

There’s no word on the extent of any injuries at this time
