One person suffered serious injuries as the result of a crash involving a side-by-side in Clarenville Saturday night.

RCMP reported to the crash site on Memorial Drive just before midnight on Saturday.

Paramedics were already on the scene and the driver was taken to hospital with what RCMP call serious, life-altering injuries.

The damaged side-by-side was seized as part of the investigation.

Police are now seeking witnesses or any possible phone, dash cam or surveillance footage in the time leading up to the crash.
