A local business owner has passed away.
Bonnie Leyton, a potter and painter who owned the Leyton Gallery of Fine Art, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 86.
She was predeceased in 2022 by her husband Elliott Leyton, an author and social-anthropologist who wrote the book ‘Hunting Humans.’
Leyton is being remembered for her support of the local arts community, her fashion sense and her “joie de vivre.”
