Signs indicating that a product is affected by tariffs are returning to Loblaw stores.
The grocer started labelling affected products with a ‘T’ symbol last year when trade tensions between Canada and the U.S. began to flare.
Loblaw has scaled back usage in recent months, however the logo will soon start popping up on price tags once again.
Products with the ‘T’ symbol will indicate to shoppers that the item has seen a price increase because of tariffs.
Loblaw also plans to ramp up its efforts to highlight products made in Canada.
