Traffic is going to get a whole lot busier tomorrow as students head back to class for the start of the new school year.
Drivers are being reminded to watch for school buses, be prepared for delays and never to pass a school bus with its arm extended and the lights flashing.
School zones are another area where speeds will need to be reduced.
Transportation lead on St. John’s city council, Kate Cadigan says it’s important to keep an eye out and drive with patience.
“As always take your time on the roads,” says Cadigan. She’s also reminding drivers to watch for kids walking to school and on their bikes.
