Education Minister Paul Dinn was at Octagon Pond Elementary this morning to greet students has they headed back to school.
Dinn, joined by members of the RCMP and the RNC, delivered fist bumps and high fives to the youngsters.
He says they wanted to come together on the first day to ensure the kids felt welcome and that they knew there would be nothing to be scared of.
