Update:
A single lane of the Trans Canada is now open at the scene of a collision on the highway near St. Jude’s.
RCMP advise however that the road may close in both directions again as work continues at the crash site.
Drivers are being warned to expect delays in both directions.

The Trans-Canada Highway is closed in both directions near the community of St. Judes on the west coast due to a collision.
First responders are on the scene. Drivers are asked to avoid the area at this time.
