There’s a search underway in the St. John’s area after word that somebody may have gone into the ocean.

First responders, including the RNC, the Rovers Ground Search and Rescue, and the Coast Guard are at Cape Spear.

No other information is available.

They ask that the general public who may be in the area be mindful of their presence.
